Biographie
Il commence sa carrière chez Mushi Production en 1964, où il devient directeur d’animation. Collaborateur de Dezaki depuis Ashita no Joe (1970), Akio Sugino est un designer et animateur de renom. Ses fameux « harmony cels » permettent aux spectateurs de profiter de son style graphique qui a marqué à jamais l’animation japonaise.
