Une nouvelle série animée en deux saisons pour Ghost in the Shell

C'est lors d'une interview accordée à la chaîne YouTube Nuke the Fridge que Maki Terashima-Furuta, Président de Production I.G. USA, a dévoilé qu'une nouvelle série animée Ghost in the Shell est en chantier.

Le studio Production I.G. sera évidemment en charge du projet. Kenji Kamiyama, réalisateur de Ghost in the Shell - Stand Alone Complex, dirigera la première saison tandis que la seconde sera orchestrée par Shinji Aramaki, réalisateur des fims Appleseed.

En attendant plus d'informations, le manga original de Masamune Shirow est proposé aux éditions Glénat, tandis que la série Stand Alone Complex a eu droit à une réédition Blu-Ray chez @Anime l'année dernière.
