La légendaire Tour de Druaga vient de resurgir 80 ans après sa destruction par le héros Gilgamesh. Afin de défaire la divinité démoniaque Druaga, le Royaume d'Uruk a dressé son armée aux abords de la tour, mais les expéditions ont échoué malgré leurs efforts répétés. Un jeune homme du nom de Jil, qui a été béni par la déesse Ishtar, se voit confié une brillante armure dorée et une épée par Gilgamesh afin de pourfendre l'idole.

Encouragé par une foule en liesse, notre jeune héros Jil entame avec confiance sa confrontation avec la divinité maléfique siègeant dans la tour. Aidé par de grands amis tels que l'archer Neeba et la mage Fatina, il se dirige vers le plus haut des étages de la tour.
